Previewing the contents of the music CD was helpful, as there weren't many surprises. This was good, but could have used a bit more variety between energized and relaxed. It works fine as background music, which is why I bought it.
I adore Celtic music and this one suited me to a "T".
How could you not love "Danny Boy" or the others on this CD. Even people who are not Irish will fall in love with these sounds - of course, it is hard to image that anyone is not part Irish (Or at least, wished they were). If you a smaple of this kind oif music then this is a great CD to begin your collection with. I have owned this for years and continue to listen with pleasure. The music is played with great skill and inspiration. It captures your heart.
The rest of the CD is well done also but that piece of music is incomperable. The selection Inisheer by Charish The Ladies has a haunting melody of utmost beauty. I had the cassett and when I upgraded my system to include CD's I couldn't exclude this selection from my upgrade. This is a very nice collection of Irish music.
Will bring tears to an Irishman's eyes. This was one of the most beautiful collections I have listened to in years, now I'm looking for similar.
